Is Zhaojialou Ancient Town Fun? Introduction to Zhaojialou Ancient Town

Zhaojialou is an ancient town in Shanghai. When it comes to Shanghai, many friends must think that Shanghai is a typical prosperous metropolis, including when other places were poor, Shanghai was already a very rich city, but Shanghai not only has beautiful cities, but also does have beautiful scenery and interesting ancient towns. Let's take a look at Zhaojialou with Xiaobian.

At noon, I took a break with my friends and drove to Zhaojialou, another ancient water town in Pudong, where I always wanted to go. It was my first time to set foot on this ancient land and get in touch with the original ecological water town in Pudong, and I had expectations in my heart.

The garage arrived in the ancient town in 2 minutes, found the parking lot, and pressed the signpost. We crossed the memorial archway of Zhaojialou, entered the Thanksgiving Gate, stepped on the Thanksgiving Bridge, walked down the Millennium arched stone bridge, and strolled in the old streets and alleys. The weather was beautiful, and it was drizzling in the sky in less than half an hour, as if God had specially arranged for me to enjoy a rainy day, so that I could travel through the next time. Walking in the rainy alley, I really wanted to hold a grease umbrella.

Zhaojialou is located in pujiang town, Minhang District, Shanghai. The terrain looks like an old man's clenched fist and his open palm.

This feeling of closing, opening, bending and bypassing implies popularity, wealth, good fortune and literary spirit. Friends living in Shanghai must go and see it.

eight hundred years ago, it was still a wasteland. In the early Yuan Dynasty, farmers gradually lived and cultivated here. In the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the imperial court issued a policy of benefiting the people, "Reclaiming wasteland can save three years of grain." At that time, Tan Shi, a retired official, built a bell tower here, ringing bells to encourage farmers to work hard, hence the name of Zhaojialou.

There was an ancient poem, "Smoke breaks in ten miles, and the bell is called several times", which is about the real situation of ringing the bell in Zhaojialou. Therefore, Zhaojialou is the earliest land reclamation area in Shanghai, and Zhaojialou culture is also the origin of Shanghai farming culture.

The ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River are all so unique. Bridges, flowing water and people are as beautiful as a painting everywhere, just like the Xinchang ancient town where I live.

Pavilions and pavilions, river ports, rough bluestone slabs, riding walls, lotus walls, blue tile cornices, small bridges and houses built by the river are reflected in the green trees, giving people a quaint and peaceful aesthetic feeling.

Yaojiabang, the main river course in the ancient town, is cross-shaped and runs through the town. From time to time, you can see boats passing by the river and swaying across the river.

In Zhaojialou Old Street, there are more than 1 stone bridges with different shapes across Yaojiabang. Fuxing Bridge, Zixun Bridge, Baoen Bridge, Ruizheng Bridge, Ningjian Bridge ... Each bridge has a story.

Among them, Baoen Bridge is the tallest bridge in Zhaojialou. "Take a trip on the bridge of gratitude, and you will never forget the kindness." Therefore, when you are alive, you should know how to repay your kindness. Standing on the bridge, I can overlook the most beautiful scenery of Zhaojialou.

"The First Bay of Zhaojialou" is the largest, most beautiful and classic Feng Shui Bay in the center of Zhaojialou Old Street. On the shore of Bay Road, there stands a huge stone. It is said that this huge stone blocked Shaqi and suppressed the polluted air.

On the other side of the bend, there stands a memorial arch-Ruihui Square. Among the 16 archways in Zhaojialou, it is the only one with its front facing south.

To say that the most humane place in Zhaojialou is the reading wave gallery, the longest corridor in the ancient town. I enjoy the scenery along the river comfortably, which is only 1 meters before and after. I stroll in the corridor with my friends and slowly savor this humanistic feeling from ancient times to the present.

The permanent residents of Zhaojialou are all born and raised in Pudong, Shanghai, while the residents living in the urban area of Shanghai are mostly residents who moved from Jiangsu and Zhejiang when they opened the port. The real Shanghainese are Pudong people, who speak authentic Pudong dialect. I also learn from the taste of Pudong people, speak those half-baked Pudong dialects and ask the price of rice cakes handmade by my grandmother in the shop.

If I catch it in time, I can still watch a Shanghai opera in Wu dialect under the "ceremony platform", which is very comfortable. As for drama, I like Huangmei opera in my hometown, and I also prefer Shanghai opera and Yue opera. When I was young, I would sing "Yan Yan Matchmaking", which made me make unremitting connections with Shanghai.

The so-called good times are used to meet each other. The sunshine is warm, the dust is floating, and you hold your breath, as if you can catch every crystal, which is the beauty of flowing and heart.

I'm here, you're here, a thousand-year-old town, and we met by chance.

Zhaojialou is a veritable land of outstanding people, and it still maintains a strong literati atmosphere.

Walking in the alley and facing the street, the delicious food wafted from the shop. Unable to resist the temptation of the fragrance, my friends and I went into the shop and ordered some special snacks from Zhaojialou, such as Xiasha Shaomai, Caotou cake, oil chopping block, glutinous rice dumplings with fresh meat and red bean paste, and traditional dishes with local characteristics. By the way, we packed a few copies and took them home to taste with our family.

Xingdong Street is a gourmet street in Zhaojialou, and the facade along the river is full of people coming and going, which adds a strong fireworks atmosphere to Zhaojialou.

almost everyone in the local housewife can cook this dish, which is bright red in color, sweet but not greasy, tender in meat, crisp and fragrant. The most authentic taste is "Su Ji Xian Ti". People who come here to play will buy some hands to tear off oily meat and braise the hoof and take them home.

Zhaojialou mutton is characterized by its delicious and refreshing taste, and its taste is no less than that of Zhou Pu hot mutton, which we are familiar with.

Zhaojialou Daqu has been lost now, but there are several shops selling Zhaojialou yellow wine in the ancient town. I also bought several bottles and tasted them. They are all brewed by myself, and the taste is very pure.

Zhaijialou, Zhaijialou mutton, and Zhaijialou Daqu are called the Three Treasures of Zhaijialou locally.

willows and willows, breezy, stop-and-go, eating snacks, buying food, taking photos and chatting, a leisure afternoon passed so leisurely.

in this fast-paced real life, choose a time to let go of your mood, slow down your pace, and enjoy your time slowly, and you will get a quiet beauty!

Zhaojialou is the nearest tourist attraction in Shanghai to my home. I often visit it when I have nothing to do. The quaint buildings, crystal clear rivers, unique bridges, row upon row of pavements, narrow streets, various local snacks, and endless crowds of shoppers always make me linger and drool. This is my favorite ancient town in Jiangnan.
