1. Religious customs
Egypt is an Islamic country and you should respect local religion and customs. Women should not wear clothes that are too revealing, and men and women should not engage in intimate behaviors such as hugging in public places.
2. Weather
Although Egypt is located in Africa, the average daily temperature is not high because the temperature difference between morning and evening is very large. Due to the influence of the maritime humid climate in the coastal areas of the Mediterranean and Red Sea, the daily temperature difference is not large. The farther south, the farther away from the desert, the climate becomes drier, the daytime becomes hotter, and the temperature drops more at night.
3. Taking photos
It is prohibited to take photos in sensitive areas such as government agencies and military facilities. Women are not allowed to be photographed without their permission. Photographing in mosques and museums requires prior consent.
4. Diet and health
Since you are not used to different diets, you can bring some pickled mustard, tea, etc. with you. To prevent acclimatization, please bring some ready-made medicines. Safety is a concern for all tourists visiting Egypt. The Egyptian government has very strict security measures for foreign tourists. There will be security inspection equipment at the entrances of hotels and scenic spots to conduct safety checks on tourists and vehicles entering the area.
