The main attractions of the first phase of the park are: flower and dance culture tree-lined square, forest rest pavilion, chess and cards square, fitness square, dance square, ball playground, children's activity square, tree pavilion garden, diabolo sports square, and a 1,000-meter jogging track in the forest. The park mainly meets citizens' daily fitness and leisure activities, and also combines local sports and cultural activities, such as flower dance culture tree-lined square, diabolo sports square and cultural performances.
The second phase of the park will create a "ginkgo forest corridor" to form a characteristic ginkgo landscape forest, in which the cultural science popularization and health care knowledge of green plants will be displayed and the concept of caring for the green environment will be publicized. The main attractions include Ginkgo terraces, Xinghua Valley, Xianghua Square, Peony Garden, Sakura Island, Green Pavilion Morning Exercise Square and other leisure and fitness activities. The park can be connected with the riverside green space in Dongba area and bungalow area through the green space on both sides of Xiaowanggou, and form a green space plate with Dongba Country Park and Jingcheng Huaiyuan.
The park will be built in two phases. The first phase covers an area of 344,200 square meters (5 16 mu), which was started in June 2007 and completed in April 2008. The construction scale of the second phase is 398,700 square meters (598 mu), and construction started in 2008. Chang Ying Park, featuring autumn scenery forest, is a country park that meets the needs of citizens for viewing, leisure, fitness and sports.
