Program background

Huang Lei has always had a deep love for drama. He has publicly stated that he has only done two things in his life, one is "Peach Blossom Garden" and the other is Wuzhen Drama Festival. Lai Shengchuan, known as "the best theater in Asia", has created many works, such as Dream Like a Dream, Secret Love of Peach Blossom Garden and so on, and has profound attainments in drama. In his early years, Qiao Shan performed in Beijing People's Art Theatre, Pioneer Theatre, Haidian Drama and other theaters, and accumulated rich drama experience.

Tan Na, the producer of this program, said that the most fundamental initial intention of creating this variety show is to let more people see the talents and highlights of these dramatists through such a popular variety show.
