abstract

The car was jointly developed by Krupp GmbH, GmbH and Lor for nearly two years. In the process of development, the experience of bridge development in other countries is used for reference, and ready-made parts are used as much as possible.

It is small and agile, and can pass through any terrain in the Federal Republic of Germany. The shaft body is low, which can fully bridge in the shortest time, and the bridge can be closed on both sides of obstacles.

The advantages of this kind of vehicle are large span-up to 26m-and small self-weight, but the load capacity is 60t, which can carry the heaviest combat vehicle.

At the beginning of 1987, MAN signed a contract with the Norwegian Ministry of Defence to provide 14 such bridge cars and 14 additional bridge bodies or 12 additional bridge bodies, with a total contract value of 12 DM. The car has been equipped with Norwegian troops.

design feature

The vehicle consists of three parts: the carrier vehicle, the erection mechanism and the bridge body.

1. vector

This is a VFA 8×8 wheeled off-road vehicle produced by MAN and Austrian Automobile Factory (OAF). In view of the fact that the crossing point is generally close to the expressway, the off-road performance of vehicles is only required at the crossing point. 2. Bridging mechanism

It consists of an upright arm, a supporting arm and an auxiliary arm. The erection arm is located at the rear end of the mobile frame, and the bridge body moves longitudinally with the help of 1 guide roller and gear transmission device.

The supporting arm is located at the front end and used for supporting the upper half of the bridge body; The auxiliary arm supports the upper half of the bridge body at the rear end. Only two passengers can supervise and bridge automatically. The bridging process is as follows: the vehicle travels backwards to the river bank until the end of the moving frame is about 7.5m away from the edge of the river bank.

After the upper part of the bridge body rises, it hangs in front of the rotating support arm, the lower part of the bridge body moves forward, and then the slope decreases 10%. At the front, the bridge is supported by the rotating arm, and at the back, the bridge is supported by the auxiliary arm. After that, the auxiliary arm descended, which disturbed the two halves of the bridge. 3. Bridge body
