The scenic spots suitable for Nanjing at night include Xuanwu Lake, Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River.
1. Xuanwu Lake
Xuanwu Lake is the core scenic spot in Huangyi Mountain, which is named after the basalt pillar forest left by volcanic eruption 8 million years ago. By boat, you can enjoy the clear green water and the magnificent magic of the stone.
When night falls, people are singing and dancing in the upper reaches of the bonfire square near Xuanwu Lake, which is very lively.
Second, Confucius Temple
Nanjing Confucius Temple, one of the four Confucian temples in China, was founded in 134 AD and expanded from the East Jin Academy. Confucius Temple complex is mainly composed of Confucius Temple, Xuegong and Jiangnan Gongyuan, which is a landmark building on the Qinhuai River.
The stone balustrade in front of the Confucius Temple was built during the Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty, which is the only best preserved ancient building in the Confucius Temple complex. The large zhaobi, with a total length of 11 meters, is the best zhaobi in China. Scenic spots sometimes hold some folk activities, lantern festivals and so on. 3. Qinhuai River

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qinhuai River and feel the local customs along the river from different perspectives by taking a boat overnight.
