Fumin 01 Dongcun Town Dongcun Town, Fumin County, is the first place where Fumin planted cherries, and it is also the place where Kunming cherries mature earlier.

Cherry cultivation in Dongcun Town has a history of hundreds of years, and there are still cherry trees that are more than a hundred years old in the town.

This year, the picking period for East Village cherries is from March 20 to April 20, and the best picking period is around April 8.

Among the more than ten cherry orchards located in Dulang Village, Xiaodulang Village and Muzhi Village in Dongcun Town, some cherry orchards charge an entrance fee of 20 yuan.

At present, the cherry picking price is 40 yuan/kg, and it is expected that the picking price will fall back to a minimum of 20 yuan/kg in the later period.

02 Chijiu Town, 40 kilometers away from the main city of Kunming and 20 kilometers away from Fumin County, is the main cherry picking area in Kunming.

There are more than 4,000 acres of cherries planted in the town, and currently more than 3,000 acres are bearing fruit. It is the largest cherry picking area around Kunming, mainly distributed in the four village committee areas of Yuping, Zuimili, Puqiao and Pingdi.

There are two main picking routes from Kunming to Chijiu Town. Route 1 is towards the county town, and route 2 is towards Jianzhuang Town.

Route 1: Wukong-Kunming Expressway (or Kunlu Old Road - Fumin County - Go 6 kilometers on Kunlu Highway and turn right - drive 13 kilometers on Beiqing Highway - arrive at Chijiu Town (you can also follow Wukong-Kunming Expressway to Fumin Exit

Or take Luoban Exit, enter Kunlu Highway, and then take Beiqing Highway to reach Chijiu Town (about 40 kilometers away). Route 2 is at the lower level of Phuket Interchange—pass through Jiaozishan Tourist Line—Jianzhuang Town—enter Beiqing Highway and arrive.

Travel, go to the cherry feast. 01 Qinglong Street Qinglong Street has been planting cherries for more than 10 years, mainly in five villages including Jiepai Village, Jiepai Village, Xiaodian Village, Haimiao Village, and Yibaitian Village.

The planting area reaches more than 2,000 acres. Due to the advantages of climate, soil and varieties, cherries mature earlier and the fruits are larger. At the same time, farmers use wild cherry trees as mother trees for grafting, which maximizes the original flavor of cherries and further improves the quality of the fruits.

Taste. The cherry picking season in Anning Qinglong Street lasts from the end of March to mid-to-early May. There are currently a large number of farmers selling cherries on the roadside at a price of 60-80 yuan per basket (about 2kg per basket). In addition, tourists can buy them by themselves.

When picking cherries, visitors can also enjoy the natural beauty of Shuangmei Village and experience local specialties along the road. Route: Visitors can exit from the Anfengying toll station and drive 9km towards Roots to reach the cherry picking area. Visitors can park their vehicles.

In the Jiepai Xiaocun parking lot, the cherry fruit-bearing area in Xiaohongxiang Village, Xiaohongxiangcun County Street, has reached more than 600 acres. With its location close to the city and the “outstanding” quality of cherries, it attracts a large number of people every year.

In recent years, Xiaohongxiang has taken the concept of building a "slow village" to support leisure agriculture, aiming at the "integration of ecology, production and life", and focusing on the tourism industry and agricultural characteristics.

During the 10-day picking period, it is expected that about 30 tons of cherries can be picked. The admission fee is 20 yuan per adult and 10 yuan per child. The cherry picking price is 60 yuan per basket (about 2 kg).

In Guanling, Jincheng Town, there is a famous "cherry village" - Huangjiazhuang Village. There are tens of thousands of cherry trees here, which are big, red and sweet. The natural ecology is pollution-free except Guanling.

The cherries in Ningduo are ripe, and citizens can choose to have fun while picking cherries.
