Introduction to the author
Juaner, whose real name is Wang Jing, has a doctorate in literature and is currently a lecturer at the School of Animation and Digital Art at Communication University of China. He teaches picture book appreciation, picture book creation, illustration design, etc. course. The work "Dumplings and Glutinous Rice Balls" (pictured by Ren Jingjing) won the finalist award for the first Zhang Leping Picture Book Award and was selected as the 2018 Laurel Children's Book (Early Childhood Enlightenment Category). The latest work is "Little Zongzi, Little Zongzi".
Introduction to the Illustrator
Ren Jingjing is currently studying for a master's degree in animation at Communication University of China. The picture book "Dumplings and Glutinous Rice Balls" that I collaborated with for the first time during my undergraduate studies with Teacher Wang Jing won the finalist award for the first Zhang Leping Picture Book Award. She has been doing animation creation before, and picture books have opened the door to a new world for her. In the future, she will work hard to present more and better picture books for young readers!
