The Bahe River is a tributary of the Weihe River, a tributary of the Yellow River.

Current status of the Bahe River: Existing drainage basin: The Bahe River is one of the important rivers in the "Eight Rivers of Chang'an". The Bahe River has a total length of 104.1 km, and has 17 large tributaries such as the Hechuan River and the Chechuan River. The drainage area is 2581 m~2.
The Bahe International Port Section starts from the North Third Ring Bridge in the south and ends at the mouth of the Bahe River in the north, with a total length of 8.17 kilometers.
River construction: In 2019, in accordance with the city's overall plan for water control, clear water and city revitalization, the International Port Area launched two key projects to ensure the "14th Transport" for the upgrading and reconstruction of the "three rivers and one mountain" greenway construction on both sides of the Bahe River.
Through high-level design planning, efficient implementation, and high-quality improvement, the project has made today's Bashui Coast a charming new landmark in the city.
Through river curvature transformation, river dredging and ecological revetment construction, the original old hard protection will be upgraded and transformed into sparse forest grassland and riverside. Upgrading and reconstruction projects on both sides of the Bahe River include new water conservancy, municipal roads, and greening projects.
