Spring Festival in Jining
Every Spring Festival, I follow my parents back to my hometown - Jining to celebrate the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival there is completely different from that in Jinan.
On the morning of New Year's Eve, when the sky is dark, every household begins to burn incense and stick a red pocket on the side of the door to express that the whole family will be safe and sound throughout the year. After breakfast, the children followed the adults to help hang lanterns and put up Spring Festival couplets. The glue used there was also very special. It was not double-sided tape or tape, but paste. First, hang the lantern, and hang the big red lantern above the door. Commonly known as "Gaozhao", it means "good fortune shines high". Then, paste the Spring Festival couplets.
After the children finish their work with the adults, the adults buy firecrackers for the children. Both boys and girls like to set off firecrackers. If you go to any merchant on the street, they will sell New Year supplies. Firecrackers sell very quickly there; fireworks, hanging cannons, thunderbolts, and cannon planting are all very popular, especially the fireworks, which are often bought by adults and set off on New Year's Eve. There are also a lot of candies there. During the Chinese New Year, adults will buy a lot of candies for children; such as crystal candies. Fruit candies, lollipops, everything is available in a wide variety. In the afternoon, it is the time for children to set off firecrackers. The younger children set off firecrackers, and the older ones set off "thunders". Usually, when setting off thunders, the "dong, dang" sound is particularly loud in the woods. People within five miles could hear it very clearly.
The night is the busiest. In the evening, people eat chicken, duck, fish and meat while talking. The children have been absent-minded for a long time, looking forward to setting off fireworks and firecrackers as soon as they finish the meal. The sky is getting darker and darker, and every family lights a lantern and puts two steamed buns in the pot, in order to have food all year round; also, no matter how many lights you have in your home, as long as they are lights, turn them on, and the village lights will It is so bright that no house does not turn on the lights. "Dong, dong, dong" Looking up, the sky is filled with fireworks of all kinds and shapes. The moon and stars have also disappeared. I am just watching people setting off firecrackers lively and joyfully! At eight o'clock in the evening, every family watched CCTV's "Spring Festival Gala" on time. The young people made dumplings, ribs, and mutton soup to prepare for the reunion dinner tomorrow morning.
At two or three o'clock, people get up and hang up the firecrackers. In my hometown, I regard the sound of firecrackers as an alarm clock. As soon as the firecrackers go off, you can't sleep anymore. "Crackling" after getting up The first thing is to "kowtow". After kowtowing, the older generation will give the children lucky money. Men of the same clan in the village often visit their ancestors at their ancestral halls to express their memory and ask their ancestors’ spirits in heaven to bless their families with prosperity and peace and prosperity in the coming year. At around 4 o'clock, the main room becomes the most crowded place, because the younger generation has to kowtow to the elder to show respect and wish the elderly a long life. At around 5 o'clock, the whole family gets together and has a reunion dinner. Eggs are an indispensable part of the reunion dinner. Eating eggs means that students will get better grades. Eating eggs means that they will be reunited throughout the year.
From the third grade of junior high school onwards, relatives and friends visit each other, visit relatives and friends, and reunite with old classmates.
After the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, people should go to work and study. Another year has passed and another year of harvest has been achieved.
