Huangyan Specialty 1: Youth League
Youth League is a traditional snack in Huangyan, Zhejiang. It's usually made before Tomb-Sweeping Day. Its production method is very elaborate. Using glutinous rice, meat, bamboo shoots, shrimp skin and dried bean curd as main raw materials, adding wormwood juice. The green ball is not sweet or greasy, salty and soft, with a faint but long grass fragrance.

The ancestor of Wenzhou mandarin, the largest wide-peel citrus variety in the world, is in Huangyan. In the 3rd century AD, Huangyan Orange was recorded in the history books. Kumquat was planted in Huangyan during the Three Kingdoms period. Huangyan tangerine was selected as a tribute in the Tang Dynasty.
Huangyan specialty 4: Dongkui Yangmei
Dongkui Myrica rubra belongs to angiosperm, Myrtaceae. Dongao Village, Huangyan, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, is famous for its extraordinary cause and effect. Its main characteristics are: the fruit is not round, the single fruit is 20-25g, the fruit color is purplish red, the meat column is thick, the soluble solid content is 13.5%, the sugar content is 10.5%, the juice yield is 74%, and the acid content is only10.35%, which is far superior to other bayberry.
