1. There are jade markets almost everywhere in Tengchong, but several major jade markets are concentrated in Tengchong County and Hehua Township. The main jade markets in Tengchong County include Tengchong Jewelry Trading Center, Tengyue Trade City, Tengyue Jade City, Jade Ancient Town, Oriental Gold and Jade, Wenxing Building, and New Southeast. Among them, Tengchong Jewelry Trading Center and Tengyue Trade City have the longest history. The rest of the jade market is generally retail-oriented.

2. What I would also like to mention is the jade market in Hehua Town, which is the main jade processing and distribution center in Tengchong. At least 9 pieces of emeralds processed locally in Tengchong come from Hehua Town, while emerald processing in Hehua Town is mainly concentrated in Umbrella Village and Xiaozhuang Village.
