Background of Baby Shark
Baby Shark originally originated as a camp song, a common children's activity at summer camps.Around the turn of the twentieth century, members of the Shark family were introduced in camp songs inspired by the movie Jaws, and campers would use their hands to mimic the jaws of a shark.
And the children's song "Baby Shark" was written to the tune of a bar from Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, which tells the story of a family of sharks hunting a school of fish, which escapes to safety.
