Horseshoe crab [hü chó ng]: commonly known as mola fish, turtle fish, water turtle, turtle cover, horseshoe crab, Sina nodule worm (Mongolian), also known as three-eyed dinosaur shrimp. It is a small crustacean, belonging to branchiopoda and brachiopod. At present, about 15 species of horseshoe crabs are known as freshwater horseshoe crabs, which inhabit lakes and ponds and are mainly distributed in Europe and North America. There are two kinds of horseshoe crabs in China.
