1. Water source: running water raises the red lips. Commonly used water sources include geothermal water and tail water from power plants. No matter which water source is used, one should consider whether water can be guaranteed during the dry season. The most popular method is "borrowing water to return water", which is a method of diverting water that makes use of natural differences.
2. Water temperature: Water temperature is an important factor restricting the growth of fish. After determining how to raise fish in flowing water, you must choose waters with a water temperature suitable for the growth of this species of fish and establish a fish farm in flowing water. The suitable water temperature for raising cockroaches is 16 to 28°C.
3. Water quantity: Flowing water fish farming is a form of intensive fish farming. The density of fish is much higher than that in ponds. The dissolved oxygen that fish depend on for survival mainly depends on the continuous injection of flowing water. . In this way, the amount of water injected into the fish pond determines the amount of dissolved oxygen that the fish can obtain, which also affects the number of fish accommodated in the fish pond and the final yield. When implementing flowing water fish farming, in order to increase the yield per unit area, sufficient flow must be ensured. The flow pool should try to achieve a large volume of water exchange and a low flow rate, so as to keep the water quality fresh and sufficient dissolved oxygen without excessive energy consumption due to large water exchange volume. In the early stages of stocking, the fish are small, have low feeding intensity, and are not prone to hypoxia. The flow rate can be controlled to exchange water once per hour. As the fish grow older, it can be increased to 2 to 3 times to 4 to 5 times per hour.
4. Water quality: With suitable water temperature and sufficient water volume, if there is no good water quality environment, it is not suitable to build a flowing fish farm. Because, even if the water source of poor quality does not cause dead fish, it will affect the growth of fish, cause diseases, or pollute the meat quality of fish, reduce its edible value, and even make it inedible. Therefore, when using surface water as a water source, be sure to choose a source that is not mixed with pesticides, industrial wastewater, or urban sewage. According to my country's fish farming water quality standards, various indicators of water sources must be carefully tested and analyzed before building a farm to ensure the safety of fish farming.
