They are Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China Oriental Space Port, xichang satellite launch center, Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and Wenchang Satellite Launch Center. Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is one of the launch test bases for scientific satellites, technical test satellites and launch vehicles. China Oriental Space Launch Port is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province, China and Haiyang City under its custody. It is operated by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is the first home port for maritime space launch in China.

Xichang satellite launch center, China is headquartered in Hangtian North Road, Xichang City, Sichuan Province, and its launch site is located in Zeyuan Township, Mianning County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center is located in the plateau area of Shentangping Township, kelan county, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, and is located in the temperate zone. It is one of the launch test bases for experimental satellites, applied satellites and launch vehicles in China. China Wenchang Space Launch Site, also known as Wenchang Space City, is located in the south of Longlou Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province, China and east of Zhongnan Reservoir.

Background of China Satellite Launch Center

With the continuous launch of satellites and spacecraft, the exploration of the moon and Mars is heating up, and the world's major space launch sites are constantly appearing in people's sight. Space launch site is a set of ground equipment, facilities and buildings specially built to ensure the assembly, preparation before launch, launching, ballistic measurement, sending instructions and receiving and processing telemetry information of space launch vehicles, and it is an important part of a country's space capability.

With the rapid development of space industry, the demand for satellite launch is increasing day by day. Based on the experience of the first batch of launch sites, some countries began to build more perfect space launch stations and launch sites for launching various satellites, space stations, manned spacecraft and space shuttles, and at the same time stopped using some launch sites with limited conditions and insufficient tasks. Some countries have also built a number of modern space launch sites according to the needs of their own space development.
