Frosted cake is a mousse cake. It is cold processed, the whole process is not baked. The main ingredients are glue, gelatin, fish glue, mousse powder and so on. The texture is similar to gooey jelly, but softer than jelly and smoother in texture.
Cheesecake, on the other hand, is a baked cake, which is hot processed and has a slightly powdery texture, similar to a regular cake.
The flavor is a very personal thing if it's good, depending on whether you like mousse cake or cheesecake. Personally, I prefer a baked cake, which is more traditional and flavorful.
Of course the base flavor of both cakes is the blueberry flavor, and the cheese flavor. The other thing is that the cheesecake is not quite the same as the American and Japanese style, the Japanese style is fluffier and sweeter, and the American style is a bit firmer.
