Typical symptoms
1, acute stone cholecystitis
Attacks often occur at night, starting with epigastric distension and discomfort, and then progressing to paroxysmal colic;
When the pain is severe, it can radiate to the right shoulder, scapula, and back;
The sudden onset of cholecystitis is often induced by a full meal or greasy food;
If the disease progresses, the pain will be continuous and paroxysmal.
The pain will be persistent and paroxysmal;
Generally combined with mild to moderate fever, once the chills and high fever, it indicates that the condition is very serious;
Pressing the right upper abdomen has pain, some patients have very obvious pain, the whole abdominal muscles are tense and stiff, it hurts when you press down, and it hurts even more when you lift up your hand;
Often accompanied with nausea, vomiting, anorexia, constipation and other gastrointestinal symptoms ;
A few patients may develop jaundice of varying severity, i.e., yellowing of the skin and eyes and deepening of the yellow color of the urine.
2, Acute non-stone cholecystitis
Symptoms are similar to acute cholecystitis, but are more likely to occur gangrene, perforation of the gallbladder and other serious conditions, manifested by chills, high fever, severe abdominal pain.
3, chronic cholecystitis
Symptoms are generally atypical, most of the epigastric distension after a full meal, eating greasy food, abdominal pain varies from person to person, and may involve the back of the right shoulder, and seldom chills, high fever and jaundice, and may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting and other symptoms.
Chronic cholecystitis due to gallbladder stones is often associated with biliary dyspepsia, which manifests as belching, fullness after meals, bloating and nausea.
