Snails, whose scientific name is China Round Snails, are the general name of Gastropoda in mollusca, which are widely distributed in freshwater lakes, reservoirs, paddy fields, ponds and ditches all over China.
Snails are cold-resistant and heat-resistant. The optimum growth temperature is 25℃. When the water temperature is lower than 15℃ or higher than 30℃, you will stop eating. If the water temperature is lower than 10℃, mud will be drilled, and if it exceeds 40℃, it will be burned to death.
Snails are omnivores. In the natural environment, it mainly eats the tender stems and leaves of aquatic plants, algae, bacteria and organic debris, and also filters plankton, and likes night activities and eating.
