How to grow passion fruit in potted plants
The potted method of passion fruit is simple. It can be planted from March to May in spring. Take out the seeds from the fresh passion fruit, choose a container with drainage holes and plant it in well-ventilated and well-drained soil, soak the seeds in clear water for 1 ~ 2 days, and then bury them in the sand to raise seedlings. Don't hurt the roots when transplanting potted plants, and give enough light after transplanting.

1, select seeds.

Potted passion fruit can be planted from March to May in spring. We can get seeds from passion fruit, and we need to expose the pulp to the sun in order to take out the fruit from the pulp more conveniently. If it is troublesome, we can also buy the seeds of passion fruit directly.

2, container selection

When we pot passion fruit, we should also choose containers of suitable size, such as pottery pots or pottery pots. It is best to plant passion fruit with drainage holes at the bottom of the container or punch holes at the bottom of the plastic cup, so that the seeds of passion fruit can take root and sprout faster.

3. Potted soil demand

Passion fruit potted plants have low requirements on soil, and like to grow in soft soil with good permeability and drainage. We can choose ordinary garden soil for planting, or add some coarse vermiculite and coconut bricks to increase the drainage of the soil.

4. Seed seedling raising

6. Planting management

After the seeds of passion fruit are planted in a pot, they should be given enough light, watered every 3-5 minutes, and nitrogen fertilizer should be applied once a month later. The temperature should be controlled at about 20℃ to provide a good growth environment for passion fruit seedlings and make them bear delicious fruits in the coming year.
