Iron amaranth alias: blood see worry, sea mussel rosary, hidden beads in the leaf. For the Euphorbiaceae plant iron amaranth Acalyphaaustralis L. above ground part. Harvested in summer and fall, remove impurities, sun-dried. Habitat distribution: Born on mountain slopes, ditches, roadsides and fields. It is distributed almost all over the country, especially in the Yangtze River. Indications: Clearing heat and removing toxins, inducing dampness, astringing and stopping bleeding. It is used for enteritis, dysentery, hematemesis, epistaxis, hematemesis, uraemia, and leakage; and externally for carbuncle boils and sores, dermatitis and eczema.
