Leung Ching Joo, whose real name is Leung Chui Ping and height is 156 cm, was born in Kuala Pilau County, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia on June 16, 1978, and is originally from Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, and is a female Chinese pop singer.In 1997, Leung Ching Joo was discovered by Lee Chung Shing as a result of her participation in a singing competition, and she traveled to Taiwan, China on her own to develop.

In 1999, she released her debut solo music album "Growing Up Overnight", thus making her official debut.

In 2000, she gained some attention with the song "Courage".
