Anhui, located in the hinterland of East China, is an inland province near the Jingjiang River in the east of China, spanning the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and Huaihe River, connecting Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the east, Hubei and Henan in the west, Jiangxi in the south and Shandong in the north.
