paper cutting
Gaomi folk paper-cut has a long history and its origin is difficult to test. From the excavation of folk paper-cut works, it was widely circulated and popularized in Gaomi, not later than the rise of the ash-throwing New Year pictures. In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, a large number of immigrants moved to Gaomi, among which many folk paper-cutting artists brought different styles of paper-cutting art to Gaomi and merged them into one, forming Gaomi folk paper-cutting art style.
Gaomi folk paper-cut uses the technique of unity of opposites in art, and the blocks and lines form black, white and gray tones, which set off each other, with strong contrast and rich rhythm; The lines are strong and straight, with a golden stone flavor; The composition is exaggerated and distorted without distortion; See the delicate in the rough, and hide the exquisiteness in the childish. Gaomi folk paper-cut, with a wide range of materials in content and a strong flavor of life, is entrusted with people's good wishes.
Paper-cut works of "window flowers", "shoe flowers", "ceiling flowers" and "steamed bun flowers" with characters, animals, flowers and birds and stories as themes are deeply loved by the masses. Since the reform and opening up, Gaomi folk paper-cutting has gone to the world, which has not only become a gift for overseas people, but also been exhibited abroad for many times. Twenty works won prizes in the national paper-cutting competition, and three paper-cutting girls went to Japan and Austria with the group to perform paper-cutting, which is known as "the magic scissors for women".
Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Pictures The Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Pictures in Hanting District were founded in the Ming Dynasty, and reached maturity at the end of the Ming Dynasty. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, they reached their peak. At this time, they were called the three major woodblock New Year Pictures markets in China together with Tianjin Yangliuqing and Suzhou Taohuawu.
Yangjiabu village presents a situation of "hundreds of painting shops, thousands of paintings" and "every family will dye it, and every household will be good at painting". With the changes of the times, Yangjiabu woodblock New Year pictures have declined several times. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC Central Committee, in order to save this folk art and reproduce its past glory, the Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Picture Research Institute was established in Hanting District, and the excavation, research and innovation began again.
After more than ten years' efforts, we have collected the 5000-edition data set of traditional paintings. At the same time, it also developed and innovated 30-year-old picture products such as album pages, calendar of New Year pictures and new year card, and innovated 50 new pictures of New Year pictures. With the deepening of reform and opening up and the convening of Weifang International Kite Festival, Yangjiabu woodblock New Year pictures are attracting more and more attention from the world, which will surely play a greater role in promoting the opening up of Hanting Pavilion.
