Foie gras, mine is about 1.5cm thick and does not need to be defrosted. Please also preheat the oven to 100 degrees.

Sprinkle with pink salt or sea salt, I only sprinkled one side

Heat the pan, it’s very hot, don’t put any oil! Just put the frozen foie gras down, there may be some smoke, that's okay. 1 minute on each side, the color should be a little golden as shown in the picture, this is very important, it can seal the oil in the foie gras and shape it. When frying the other side, you can add a little salt to the other side.

Then place on tin foil and place in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. If the foie gras is very large, you can add a little more time.
