With the rise of Jin Opera, musical instrument manufacturers and distributors of Jin Opera came into being. In the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, there were many musical instrument manufacturers in the areas where Jin Opera was distributed. Shanxi Opera is one of the four major Bangzi operas in Shanxi Province. Because it originated in the middle of Shanxi Province, it is also called "Zhonglu Bangzi", and other provinces call it "Shanxi Bangzi".
In 26, Jin Opera was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. The hundred-year-old Jin Opera can be sung for a long time, and besides its tunes and lyrics, the musical instruments accompanying it are also indispensable. "The four major pieces of the Jin Opera literary field have their own characteristics in the performance process. The softness of Jinhu, the clarity of the second string, the boldness of the third string and the escape of the fourth string. Several musical instruments with different sound qualities and other styles play Shanxi local drama."
The four major pieces of the Jin Opera literary field refer to the four musical instruments of the Jin Opera literary field, namely Jinhu, two-stringed, three-stringed and four-stringed. Jin Hu and Er Gu Xian are descendants of Xi Qin, Er Gu Xian was the earliest accompaniment instrument of the Bangzi system, San Gu Xian is a Han musical instrument with a long history, and Si Gu Xian is the longest and oldest musical instrument among the four major pieces, and it is the pioneer of Bangzi operas. The tuning of the four pieces is very distinctive, which is in the same strain as the characteristics of national music. (Author/Cheng Qiang)
Cheng Qiang, the non-genetic inheritor of the municipal intangible cultural heritage "Four Great Performances of Jin Opera"
Dear opera workers and music lovers of Jin Opera, hello! The book "Four Pieces of Accompaniment Method for Singing in Shanxi Opera" will be officially published on August 8, 22.
This is the first set of works that introduces in detail how to accompany the four major pieces of various aria in Jin Opera. This series consists of three volumes, including four pieces, namely, how to play all kinds of starting plates, all kinds of singing, bitter lovesickness, winding strings, how to accompany all kinds of flowing plates, flowing water, intermediary plates, white rolling, all kinds of coloratura, famous aria and suona qupai. This is an encyclopedia with rich contents and comprehensive records, which is a very practical reference book for professionals and amateurs in the singing art of Jin Opera and the accompaniment art of civil and military venues. Especially for beginners.
This series of books was written by Mr. Cheng Qiang, a native of Taigu, who was born in the "hometown of literary fields" for five years. During the writing period, I took the trouble to collect information, climbed mountains and waded for advice from my predecessors and colleagues, and finally made this set of books with theory, practicality, operability and inheritance meet with you! As the inheritor of the four major pieces of intangible cultural heritage, Cheng Qiang is also a disciple of Mr. Han Quanhong, a famous pianist in Sanjin. In the process of writing, Korean teachers spared no effort to explain, analyze, modify and improve each content in detail. And checked and proofread the whole series. In the process of writing, it has been strongly supported and helped by many Jin Opera performing artists and four famous Jin Opera performers. I would like to express my sincere thanks!
Inscriptions by famous artists
After the publication of "Four Pieces of Music Playing in Shanxi Opera", after a lapse of four years, her companion piece "Four Pieces of Music Accompaniment in Shanxi Opera" will also be published soon, so as to meet readers. This is a gift that I dedicate to the readers in inheriting the cause of Shanxi Opera. The contents of this book are divided into eight parts, including all kinds of commonly used piano-playing, singing through the door, lovesickness, winding strings, streamer, coloratura, some classic aria selections and suona qupai. The writing of this book mainly highlights four characteristics: first, the notation is multi-standard, including the separate notation of Jin Hu, two-stringed, three-stringed and four-stringed, and at the same time, it is equipped with percussion notation, which can be described as a book in hand and mastering civil and military affairs; Second, on the basis of notation, the bow technique of Jin Hu and two-strand string and the plucking method of three-strand string and four-strand string are marked, which are both dynamic and static and easy to understand; The third is to focus on the difficult point of flow plate, which is not easy to master, and to express it in detail; Fourth, this book not only compiles the commonly used and traditional accompaniment methods, but also selects and records the modern popular and partial accompaniment methods, which embodies the dual characteristics of tradition and times. The singing accompaniment of Jin Opera is a complex art. Due to my limited level, there are some mistakes and shortcomings in the book. I urge readers and experts to criticize the correction.
