Origin of Chongyang Festival: ?
JiuJiu Chongyang, as early as the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period of the "Chu words" has been mentioned. In Qu Yuan's "Faraway Journey", he wrote: "Setting the Chongyang into the Emperor's Palace Ruoxi, making ten days to start and observing the Qingdu".
Translation: "Gathering the Chongyang to enter the Emperor's Palace ah, and visiting the Lun Shi Xing to visit Qingdu."
The term "Chongyang" here refers to the day, not yet to the festival. Cao Pi, the emperor of the Three Kingdoms, "nine days and Zhong Yao book", has been clearly written out of the Chongyang feast: "years to the month, suddenly back to the ninth day of the ninth month. Tao Yuanming, a literati of the Jin Dynasty, said in the preface to the poem "Nine Days of Idleness": "I live in idleness, love the name of the ninth day of the year. Presumably during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, there was already the practice of drinking wine and enjoying chrysanthemums on Chongyang Day. By the Tang Dynasty Chongyang was officially designated as a folk festival.?
