How to make egg yolk steamed cake ?
Prepare ingredients: 1g yeast, 5g sugar, 70g flour, 25g carrot, 2 eggs.
PS: Only use egg yolks for this, if your baby is not allergic to egg whites, you can also replace them with an equal amount of whole eggs, the weight of the two egg yolks I weighed is about 34g.
Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.
PS: If your baby is allergic to egg whites, try to separate the yolks here as cleanly as possible.
Whisk the yolks a little. I weighed the yolks and they weighed 34g.
Chop the carrots.
Put the carrots and egg yolks together in a blender and add 105g of warm water.
PS: Make sure to use warm water to mix, so as to make the batter fermentation effect more evenly.
Pulse the egg yolks and carrots together into a fine paste.
PS: Stir the carrots a few more times to make a more delicate batter.
Add the whisked egg yolks to the flour.
PS: It's best to add the flour to the bowl first, and then pour in the yolk mixture, so that the batter doesn't come out with a lot of tiny lumps.
Use chopsticks to mix the flour and liquid.
Mix into a thicker consistency like this that won't flow easily.
PS: Many sisters asked me why the cake made before will be very sticky, a big reason is because of the addition of water added a little too much, mixed out of the batter is too thin, and evaporation of the cake when the water vapor into the so especially sticky, and will be easy to collapse.

Add the yeast to one side of the batter and the sugar to the other.

Lay a layer of baking greaseproof paper in the bowl to prevent sticking, pour the batter into the bowl.
PS: Brushing the oil method is generally effective in preventing sticking, I spread a layer of baking paper like this to be able to release the mold more easily.
Shake the bowl with your hands to spread the batter evenly.
Cover with a layer of plastic wrap.
PS: Now it needs to ferment a little bit to make the batter fluffy.
It's better to cover the batter with plastic wrap to prevent the surface of the batter from drying out and hardening.
The fermentation process is not very demanding and is usually successful. If you have an oven at home, the success rate is even higher.
Put the batter in the oven, turn the function button to fermentation, set the temperature to 38 degrees Celsius, and the fermentation time is 40 minutes.
PS: If you don't have an oven, you can put a towel around the batter and place it in a warm place, such as a warm location in direct sunlight, and let it ferment until it looks like it's 1.5 times the height of the previous batter. Don't ferment for too long, as it's easy to over-ferment and turn sour~
Put the fermented, somewhat elevated batter into a steamer and steam it for 20 minutes to cook the steamed cake.
PS: Steaming process, the batter is heated, will grow another circle, so the mold is not too small, the batter is not too full of ha~
Directly on the pot of cold water on the start of the timer, I steamed for 20 minutes on the cooked.
