1. Prepare tools
First of all, you need to prepare some tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, rulers, markers and so on.
2. Measure the installation dimensions
The size of the oil pollution filter needs to match the size of the range hood, so the size of the air inlet of the range hood should be measured first. Measure the length, width and height of the range hood with a ruler, and then record the measurement results with a marker.
3. Install the oil pollution filter.
Cut the oil filter according to the recorded size, put the filter on the air inlet of the range hood after cutting, and then fix the filter on the air inlet of the range hood with a screwdriver. Pay attention to fixing the four corners of the filter screen to avoid loosening or slipping.
4. Adjust the position of the filter.
After installing the oil pollution filter, it is necessary to adjust the position of the filter to completely block the flue, so as to better filter the grease and dust in the flue gas. You can gently shake the filter screen by hand to observe whether there is shaking or slipping, and adjust it if necessary.
In a word, correctly installing the oil filter can effectively filter the oil dirt and dust in the range hood, make the discharged oil fume cleaner and healthier, and be beneficial to the health of family members, so we must pay attention to the installation method.
