What is the "Qinhuai Eight Musts" in Jinling snacks in Nanjing?
The Eight Unique Snacks of Qinhuai refers to eight special snacks with the most Qinhuai flavor in Nanjing, one of the four largest snacks in China, and the first local snack standard approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. There are eight kinds of snacks made by seven dim sum shops in Confucius Temple area in Nanjing, which are famous for their fine technology, beautiful shape, exquisite materials and unique flavor. After expert appraisal, the  Qinhuai District Flavor Snacks Research Association of Nanjing officially named these eight sets of Qinhuai famous snacks as "Qinhuai Eight Musts" in September 1987. The eight sets of snacks in Qinhuai Eight Musts are: Huangqiao sesame seed cake and shredded kai yang in Yongheyuan, beef soup and beef pot stickers in Jiang Youji, tofu waterlogging and scallion cakes in Fengju, duck oil crisp sesame seed cake and jambalaya Bao in Qifang Pavilion, sesame oil dried silk and shredded chicken noodles in Qifang Pavilion, sweet-scented osmanthus dumplings and five-color cakes in Lianhu Pastry, and the first.
