Hello, this is my collection method, I hope it can help you!
1. Carton storage
1. First pack the tea leaves in plastic bags, and then place the tea leaves in the carton.
2. Do not place cartons against walls or on the ground. Try to avoid direct contact with walls and floors. Because the cartons will absorb moisture from the walls or floors, causing the tea leaves to become damp and moldy. It is best to place the tea cartons in a cool, dry and ventilated place, such as bookcases, wooden shelves and the like.
3. It is best to check regularly to check whether the tea leaves are damp.
4. When storing Pu'er tea, avoid exposure to sunlight. Long-term exposure to sunlight will cause the tea to deteriorate.
2. The highly recommended method of storing tea in jars
The method of storing tea in jars is more scientific, because storing tea in jars can effectively prevent the tea from getting damp and avoid contact with air and oxidation. In addition, the jar can store tea and wake up the tea, which can be said to kill two birds with one stone. Recommended jars: clay jars or purple clay jars. It needs to be sealed with a plastic bag before being placed in the carton. In addition to preventing moisture, the purpose is to prevent odor transfer.
1. Use small jars for storage, and place a kind of tea in each jar.
2. Use large jars for storage. Do not mix all the tea leaves in the large jar. Each tea leaf needs to be sealed in a plastic bag and then placed in the large jar.
Raw tea and cooked tea should also be stored separately and not placed together. For cooked tea, it is best to use purple clay jars for storage, because purple clay jars have good air permeability.
3. Storage of loose tea
It is recommended not to store loose tea, because loose tea has not been pressed and can easily lose flavor. The aroma and taste of loose tea stored for one to two years are not as good as before. For short-term storage, loose tea can be sealed in plastic bags or stored in purple clay jars (note: it must be stored sealed).
