According to the "Jiangnan Festival Meal as usual" recorded in the southern tour of Qianlong in the first month of the 30th year of Qianlong, "Pufu cooked glutinous rice duck, stewed meat in the spring of ten thousand years, duck with rotten spring bamboo shoots and shredded chicken with bird's nest" in Suzhou, and its "glutinous rice eight-treasure duck" was the most famous traditional dish in Suzhou at that time, which was recorded in the Qing Dynasty's Diaoding Collection and Tongqiao Yiba Record.
