A sea shoot is an animal. It is a species of Mollusca, class Bivalvia, order Sealobranchia, family Asparagaceae.

Sea shoots are only a few centimeters long, shaped like an egg, only the front end is slightly flatter, two shells, looks like a asparagus, sea shoots from the name. There are two water pipes at the end of the sea shoot's body, but these two water pipes (the entry pipe and the drainage pipe), in addition to the end of the very small part of the separation, the rest of the part is together, so from the outside it seems to be only one water pipe. It has a very long hose, about the length of a shell when stretched out.

In ordinary times, the sea-shoot extends its water pipe to the mouth of the rocky cave, absorbing fresh seawater and food from the inlet pipe, and discharging feces or reproductive cells from the drain pipe. The ends of its pipes are pigmented with spots that happen to be the same color as the rock, so other animals can't easily spot it. This provides concealment for it to hunt its prey.
