Jiajie Street was built by hometown people to rebuild their homes after returning from exile in 1954. The original brick and slag pavement was laid under the leadership of Mr. Tian XX, then the director of the Second Neighborhood Committee. The source of brick slag depends entirely on mobilizing the masses. Every household picked up bricks and tiles, hammered them into sizes suitable for paving, and then laid them on the road by technicians, which changed the phenomenon of muddy streets whenever it rained.
There are two shops, a mill, an inn and two administrative agencies on Jiajie Street. One of these two shops is Tian Xiyuan, opened by old man Tian, and the other is the revitalization opened by grandma. These two shops disappeared before the four clean-ups. Tianjiadian has a small facade and mainly deals in kitchen supplies such as cream soy sauce. Chendian has a large facade and many types of business. I remember that in the year of the three-year disaster, I once bought cakes with lotus root as the main raw material there. The size of the cake is like the present Soviet-style moon cakes, black and wrinkled, each like five cents. Five cents at that time was equivalent to five dollars today. At that time, people's monthly salary was generally only twenty or thirty yuan. It can be said that five cents was not a small sum at that time. In famine years, this kind of lotus root cake is also a delicious snack to solve the appetite.
The mill is opposite the original town Committee. It is run by a family named Tian. The host is cheerful and likes to joke. Some jokes inevitably involve some "political" content. During the four clean-ups, a few jokes on weekdays were exposed, and then a criticism meeting was held, which was mercilessly criticized and fought, and was characterized as the current counter-revolution. As a result, Mr. Tian was imprisoned and sentenced to several years of compulsory reform in a reform-through-labour farm.
The inn was the only hotel in my hometown at that time that received all kinds of business travelers from all corners of the country. The name of the inn is "Jin Tongan", the owner of the inn is Jin Erdie, and later it was a public-private partnership. Ginger's father is called Jin Shenzhi. He studied in Wuhan in his early years and later set up a learning museum in his hometown. The enlightenment of our parents' cultural knowledge was accepted in his old man's house. Jin Erdie is a calligrapher. 1962, he wrote the name of Hushamen for the Hu Sha District Government. Today, the word "Hushamen" is powerful, and it is rare for Husha people to win Mo Bao. The original site of the inn was later changed into a material exchange.
There are two administrative agencies, one is Hu Sha Town Committee, and the other is the Second Residents Committee, which was then under the jurisdiction of Husha District. When we left the lake in 1966, Mr. Peng Zexiang was the secretary of the town committee, Mr. Pan Fucai was the mayor and Mr. Peng was the minister of the armed forces. Secretary Peng is a party cadre with strong party spirit and firm class stance. I had the privilege of listening to the current political report made by Secretary Peng. Mayor Pan is deeply loved by the villagers. Mayor Pan is very close to the masses and has no bureaucratic airs. In my mind, he is more often an approachable elder. I remember when Shashi Cotton Textile Printing and Dyeing Factory recruited the first batch of workers in Husha Lake. Mayor Pan is afraid that a few young people are young, and that there is an age limit for employers and they will lose the opportunity to work in Shashi, a new textile industry city. He immediately instructed his subordinates that anyone born in 1950 should be born in 1949. We are grateful to the old people for thinking of the people everywhere, as long as it is mentioned more than 50 years later.
Before Mr. Huang Xisheng took office, the position of director of Husha's second residents' committee changed like a merry-go-round. I remember that Tian XX, Hu XX, Tian XX and Zhang XX all served successively, and it was not until Mr. Huang Xisheng took up this position that he stabilized. Looking at many incumbents, only Mr. Huang Xisheng has made achievements. Director Huang served in Northeast China and worked as an administrator in Harbin military industry. He has seen the world, broad vision and economic mind, so he has achieved fruitful results. Huang opened a flour mill; According to the seasonal changes, mosquito-repellent incense workshops with sawdust, Chinese herbal medicine and silk paper as raw materials were also held; Focus on young people in neighborhood committees weaving reed mats; He arranged for people to buy high-quality reeds for residents in Qukou area of Hanyang County. The industry of playing reed mats used to be the main source of income for most families in Husha Lake. There is a folk song circulating in the workshop: "Husha Lake has dikes, and every family plays reed mats, one on the left and one on the right, and ten nails are nailed." This is a true portrayal of the hard work of people who weave reed mats in Husha Lake. 1In the summer of 963, a reporter from Hubei Daily made a special trip to Hu Sha to report on weaving reed mats. The article was published in the fourth edition of the provincial newspaper at that time, with a photo of a girl I am very familiar with. Among several departments under the jurisdiction of the town government, the second neighborhood Committee has accumulated the most collective economy. Director Huang once revealed in a chat that the collective economy of the Second Neighborhood Committee, when calculated in nickels, could fill two large laundry baskets, which shows how rich the collective economy of the Second Neighborhood Committee was when he was in office. Without Director Huang's spirit of serving the people wholeheartedly, these excellent achievements are hard to achieve. Huang Xi Sheng's experience in running a business is most memorable because of his in-depth market research and bold practical operation, and he runs a shell buckle factory. At that time, Beikou Factory was thriving and its products sold well. It has solved the employment problem of hundreds of people, especially a group of young men and women. At that time, it was difficult for the superior to do it, but Director Huang Xi did it. This is an achievement created by his full use of his intelligence. Mr. Huang Xisheng presided over the work of the director of the second neighborhood Committee for a long time, and the people are well-known.
Now Jiajian Street has become narrower, and many buildings have been built on both sides. People's home stereos can hear beautiful music and traditional ancient paintings and operas from time to time. But I still miss the carefree streets and the bungalows with white walls and tiles on both sides. Every evening, Uncle Shi Yangchun sends a message with a tin microphone: "In summer, it is very hot, (in winter, it is very cold). Be careful with candles, clean the oven door and fill the water tank. Children play with fire and adults are responsible." Fire warning is so kind and warm. Times have changed, and things have changed. At that time, the residents were simple and honest, and people's simple feelings were naturally revealed ... these are worth remembering by our wanderers.
