Small laundry list 1
Method for remove sand from clams
1. soak the clams in water and put a kitchen knife or other iron objects in it. Of course, these iron objects must be rusty, because iron oxide has a strange smell, which will stimulate the clam to spit out sand, and the clam will spit out sand. Generally soak for 2 to 3 hours, and then rinse with clear water.
2. Put all the clams in a basin, and then add some vegetable oil to the water. Part of the water covered with vegetable oil is isolated from the air. When shellfish are in water, they will feel anoxic, and they will stretch out their bodies to breathe, thus achieving the effect of sand removal and cleaning. If you want to clean it again, change the water and vegetable oil several times. (Note: vegetable oil can only be added in even numbers, not too much, otherwise the clam can't breathe in it, and it is easy to suffocate and die. )
3. Fill the basin with water, add sea salt, and then put two chopsticks that are not usually used, in order to prevent the small laundry basket from sinking to the bottom. Finally, put a small laundry basket full of clams on it to soak. After 2-3 hours, you will see the sand coming out of the basin bottom, which can create the taste effect of seawater and make the clams spit out sand.
