Hami melon usually has three colors, namely golden yellow, cyan and green. The ripening time of cantaloupe is from July to September every year. Due to the current technical progress, it can also be controlled to ripen in May 5- 10/October. The most common color after fruit ripening is green with patterns.

1, yellow cantaloupe

When the yellow cantaloupe is ripe, the top will turn yellow, and the heart of the cantaloupe will be triangular and solid. After ripening, the fruit will be orange-red in color and crisp and juicy in taste.

2. Green cantaloupe

Hami melon varieties

Common Hami melon varieties include Xizhou Melon, Jiashi Melon, Donghu Melon, Black Eyebrow, Xuelihong, etc. Among them, Jiashi Melon is the best, which is called the first melon in Xinjiang.

1, Xizhou honeydew melon

Xizhou honeydew melon ripens in May 5- 10/0 every year, mainly distributed in Hainan and Xinjiang. Its skin is dark green with obvious reticulation, and its taste is thick, sweet and juicy.

2, Jiashi melon

Jiashi melon ripens only in September 9- 10/0 every year, with a late ripening time, dark green skin, rich nutritional value, rich in protein and various sugars.
