Legal basis
"People's Republic of China*** and the State Food Safety Law" Article 26
Food safety standards shall include the following:
(a) food, food additives, food-related products in the pathogenic microorganisms, pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, biological toxins, heavy metals (a) food and food additives, food-related products, pesticide residues, pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, biotoxins, heavy metals and other contaminants, and other substances hazardous to human health limitations;
(b) food additives, varieties, scope of use, dosage;
(c) for infants and young children and other specific groups of the nutritional composition of the main and auxiliary food requirements;
(d) and hygiene, nutrition, and other food safety requirements of labeling, marking, instructions;
(e) food production and operation of the food industry, and the food safety requirements; and p>(v) hygiene requirements for food production and management processes;
(vi) quality requirements related to food safety;
(vii) food inspection methods and procedures related to food safety;
(viii) other content that needs to be formulated as food safety standards.
