1. Use of templates

1. Save the presentation you made as a template

③ Give the template a name (such as "Common Demo.pot"), and then press the "Save" button (see Figure A).

[Tips] When you need to reinstall the system in the future, enter the "System Disk: Documents and Settings Administrator Application Data Microsoft Templates" folder, copy the saved template file ("Common Demo.pot") to another place, and the system will reinstall. After installation, copy it to the above folder and you can use the saved template directly.

2. Template calling

① Start PowerPoint2002, execute the "File → New" command, and expand the "New Presentation" task pane (Figure B).

2. The use of master

The so-called "master" is a special slide. It contains the slide text and footer (such as date, time and slide Numbering) and other placeholders, these placeholders control the slide's font, font size, color (including background color), shadow, bullet style and other layout elements.

Master usually includes four forms: slide master, title master, handout master, and notes master. Next, let’s take a look at the creation and use of the two main masters, “Slide Master” and “Title Master”.

1. Create a slide master

The slide master is usually used to unify the slide format of the entire presentation. Once the slide master is modified, all slides will adopt this The format of the slides created by the master will also change accordingly, quickly unifying the format and other elements of the presentation.

① Start Powerpoint2002 and create or open a presentation.

②Execute the "View→Master→Slide Master" command to enter the "Slide Master View" state. At this time, the "Slide Master View" toolbar is also expanded.

③ Right-click the "Click here to edit master title style" character, and in the shortcut menu that pops up, select the "Font" option to open the "Font" dialog box (Figure E). After setting the corresponding options, click "OK" to return.

2. Create a title master
