The simple method of folding an airplane is as follows:
Material preparation: paper.
Operation steps:
1. First prepare a rectangular piece of paper. The material of the paper is preferably harder. The folded paper airplane will fly better. As shown below.
2. Then fold it in half along the longer side. When folding, it should be folded in half neatly, with both sides aligned, not more or less, as shown in the picture below.
3. Then unfold the paper folded in half, fold it inward, turn it to the back and fold the triangle again, and fold the two corners on both sides toward the middle crease, as shown in the picture below.
4. Fold the folded side upward once as shown in the picture, and the other side as well. Later, fold the small triangle in the middle of the two oblique triangles upward, as shown in the picture below.
5. Finally, fold both sides of the paper inward, then fold it in half, pinch the middle of the paper airplane and arrange it, and the paper airplane will be formed.
Extended information:
Paper airplane (scientific name: autonomous power aerodynamic physical model) is a toy airplane made of paper. As long as it is an airplane made of paper, it can be called a paper airplane. Origami airplane is the most common form of aviation origami. It is a branch of origami and a type of paper airplane. Because it is the easiest type of origami to master, it is popular among beginners and even experts.
Making toys out of paper is thought to have originated in China 2,000 years ago, when kites were a popular entertainment item. But it’s not the same as paper airplanes. The earliest paper airplane that can be traced back to ancient times was made in the West in 1909. However, the most accepted method of production today is that of John K. Northrop (co-founder of Lockheed) in 1930.
