Chloris virgata Sw, commonly known as clove grass and big-butt grass, is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the family Gramineae and Chloris virgata Sw. It is distributed throughout China, mostly in the north. It is a high-quality forage for livestock; but it is also one of the common farmland weeds in the north.
