Ingredients
Main Ingredients
Corn Starch 16g
Plain Flour 14g
Whole Milk Powder 40g
Egg Yolks 1
Supplementary Ingredients
Corn Oil
30g
Pure Water
110g
Gummy Fudge
10g
Homemade Cream Directions
1.
Heat the corn oil and pour it into a waterless bowl to cool and set aside.
2.
Pour water into a saucepan, add fudge (I used Southern Coconut Fudge, which doesn't mess up the creamy flavor), and heat slowly over low heat until the fudge dissolves in the water.
3.
When the sugar water boils, remove from the heat, add the milk powder, stir well, strain the undissolved fudge and milk powder particles, and pour into a bowl for later use.
4.
Beat the egg yolks with a whisk until light in color, sift in the flour and cornstarch, then add the milk-sugar water (which may slightly solidify into a pudding-like consistency, but that's okay), stirring slightly and then beating with a whisk until there are no particles.
5.
Hot water on low heat, heat the batter over water, to prevent the starch from clumping, keep stirring, stirring with a spoon or spatula, do not use chopsticks (I also found out later), or else the speed of stirring can not catch up with the speed of the starch coagulation in the bottom of the pot. Just heat until it's a non-flowing paste. (It doesn't matter if it's a little lumpy, it'll be fine once you beat it with a whisk later.)
6.
Beat the batter a little, and the lumps inside open up. This will also work, but with a little oil it will be a little fluffier and creamier.
7.
Add the cooked corn oil to the batter in four batches, beating constantly.
8.
The final batter lightened in color, slightly larger, clear lines, not melted, not solidified, can be mounted, but very heavy, wipe the surface of the chiffon cake will be collapsed.

But after a little bit of squeezing ...... my laminating nozzle had a cleft lip and palate!
