It can be regarded as a kind of fish native to China, generally living in salty fresh water and seawater, and occasionally entering fresh water. The length of fish can reach 10~23 cm. Because their ancestors lived in coastal areas, yellow-finned pomfret likes water with weak alkalinity and some salt, and its pH value is 7.5 ~ 8. If the water is not changed for a long time, it will become weak, sick and even die. When you see the gray body color of the yellow fin pomfret, it means that the water quality is acidified. In case of emergency, change the water and add some salt.

Yellow-finned pomfret is gentle when it is young, and can be mixed with small tropical fish that will not be swallowed by it. As an adult, he is grumpy and needs to be careful.
