What's the difference between snails and snails?
The difference is reflected in appearance, reproduction and eating habits.
1, shape difference
The top of the snail shell is spiral, and its color changes with the environment and snail age. There are two pairs of antennas in the head, the front antenna is short and the rear antenna is long, and there is an eye on the outside of the rear antenna base.
The snail shell is yellow-green or yellow-brown, with an oval mouth, a cylindrical head and a prominent kiss at the front end. The mouth is located on the ventral surface of the front of the kiss and is divided into three parts: head, feet and viscera.
2. Reproductive differences
Ampullaria canaliculata and Ampullaria canaliculata are hermaphroditic, but after fertilization, the female snails will lay eggs at night, climb out of the water when laying eggs, and lay scarlet egg pieces on the pond wall or plants and wooden stakes on the water surface; On the other hand, snails are mature eggs that meet sperm at the top of fallopian tubes for fertilization. The fertilized egg develops in the uterus of the mother snail, and it takes about one year from the fertilized egg reproduction in the mother snail to the birth of the snail.
3. Differences in eating habits
The food of Ampullaria canaliculata is mainly plant bait, mainly eating vegetables, duckweed, melons and fruits. I especially like sweets and animal carrion in water; Snails like nocturnal activities and foraging. They mainly eat tender stems and leaves of aquatic plants, algae, bacteria and organic debris, and also filter plankton.
What harm can snails do if they are eaten without proper treatment?
There are many parasites in the snail, and it takes a long time to "kill" them, but many people don't understand, which leads to parasitic infection. If it is not completely cooked, parasites will invade the human body, destroy nerve tissue, cause headache, fever, stiff neck and so on. Seriously, it may lead to dementia, damage the human central nervous system, and even lead to disability or death.
