1.? What are diglycerides?
Diacylglycerol (DG), is a class of triglycerides (Triacylglycerol, TG) in a fatty acid is replaced by hydroxyl groups in the structure of the lipid.
DG? is a trace component of natural vegetable fats and endogenous intermediates of fat metabolism in the body, and it is a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) food ingredient. Scientific studies have found that dietary DG?has the ability to reduce visceral fat, inhibit weight gain, and lower blood lipids, thus attracting widespread attention.
2.? What is diglyceride oil?
Diglyceride oil is the edible oil with diglycerides as the main component. Olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil and other oils that people consume everyday are mainly composed of triglycerides. Through the biological enzyme processing method, the transformation of triglycerides to diglycerides can be completed. Diglycerides can have a favorable effect on human health. In fact, triglycerides are already present in natural oils, but tend to be low in content. It is the oils with 27.3% or more of diglycerides that have a beneficial effect on human health.
3. What is the composition of diglyceride cooking oil?
Under the guidance of the national strategy of "Healthy China" and the national policy of encouraging scientific researchers to actively participate in the transformation of achievements, we have been working hard to promote the development of "Medical Industry" and "Healthy China". In order to further promote the development of "medical-industrial integration" innovation and research, by the South China University of Technology, Nanshan Anjie Fund, Guangzhou Huyan Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Co. -Guangzhou Yonghua Special Medical Nutrition Technology Co., Ltd. was born in 2018.
Nanshan Kanglip Olive Diester Oil is Yonghua Specialty Medicine's own brand, a new type of high-grade edible oil with high content of triglycerides as the main ingredient. Nanshan Kanglip selects natural pure edible oil raw materials, which are transformed into natural diester oil through the national core patent technology.
For example, Nanshan Kangli's 80% Di-Glyceride Cooking Oil is composed of 80% Di-Glycerides and 20% Triglycerides.
The 20% triglyceride is to provide for the absorption by the small intestinal mucosa in the human body to ensure the normal supply of fat needed by the human body and to play the role that fat should play in the human body.
4. Role of diglycerides
DAG improves lipid levels:
The structural and metabolic characteristics of DAG are the possible mechanisms for its improvement of postprandial lipids.
The transformation characteristics of DAG in the small intestinal epithelial cells may be the main reason why postprandial lipids in the DAG group are elevated at a rate and to a degree that is significantly lower than that in the TG group.
DAG reduces body fat:
1. Increases β-oxidation of fatty acids; 2. Affects the expression of genes related to lipid metabolism: Increases the expression of genes involved in lipolysis
DAG improves blood glucose level:
DAG intake can reduce blood insulin concentration and leptin concentration in diabetic patients, and improve insulin resistance. In diabetic patients, excessive fat deposition in the target tissues of insulin action, such as adipose tissue, muscle and liver, leads to insulin resistance, while DAG intake can reduce fat deposition in various organs, lowering the level of insulin resistance and facilitating cellular glucose uptake, thus lowering blood glucose levels. The increased sensitivity of tissues and organs to insulin can inhibit the secretion of pancreatic β-cells and lower serum insulin concentration through a negative feedback regulation mechanism.
