Coptidis Rhizoma and Scutellariae Radix taste bitter and cold, so as to purge heart fire, clear away heat, eliminate evil and stabilize righteousness; What is especially wonderful is that the bitter cold of rhubarb can stop bleeding and make the blood stop without leaving blood stasis. Tang Rongchuan: "It is called purifying the mind, but it actually purifies the stomach. When the stomach qi is eliminated, the heart fire dissipates, and the heat in the stomach is not up, then the qi is in harmony with the blood. Name: Xiexin Decoction

Comprises ginseng, liquorice, scutellaria baicalensis, dried tangerine peel, trichosanthin, coptis chinensis, pinellia tuber and dried ginger.
