8. Put in another pot and add a little more water. After the water boils, add 1 tablespoon of salt to prevent the noodles from sticking. Then add the noodles. You can use dried noodles or roll them by hand. After boiling the water, boil noodles for another 5 minutes and they will be almost done. For hand-rolled noodles, boil for another 2 and a half to 3 minutes and they will be almost done. This also depends on personal taste. If you like to eat chewy noodles for a shorter time, you like to eat soft and glutinous noodles. Just cook it for a while longer. The best way is to take out one and taste it when the time is almost up. Take out the cooked noodles and let them cool until boiled. The noodles that have been soaked in water will taste more chewy.
