Amaranth stalks have been drunk, but they have not been repaired in their previous lives.

The word amaranth stalk is pronounced "full of delicious food" in my hometown.

Amaranth stalks were a common occurrence for farmers in the old society. Amaranth grows to more than one meter high. Cut it and take it home. Cut off the leaves, cut them into one inch and marinate them in a jar. You can eat it all year round.

More commonly, food is the next meal. In my hometown, eating vegetables is called eating. Eating is the next meal, and drinking is the next glass of wine. When he advised the food, he said, "After dinner, after dinner." Sometimes they will say, "Don't be a guest, the food is salty." Tell the taste effect directly, indicating that the purpose of eating the next meal is to make people feel salty in the tongue.

Shaoxing has moldy tofu, moldy thousand pieces, moldy dried vegetables, moldy beans, pickles, pickled bamboo shoots, pickled radishes and other pickles. Amaranth stalks can be said to be the cheapest one.

Amaranth seeds, almost as big as radish seeds, are round and dark, and grow wherever they are scattered. Actually, there is no need to sow. When cutting amaranth, many seeds were shaking in the field. When it grows, it is so big that it needs to be deleted in large quantities to grow other vegetables. Spiny amaranth is not edible. When it grew up, it was pulled out before sowing, but it was still old.

Amaranth itself is so cheap, and the amaranth stalk made of it is the longest meal eaten by farmers, but it is also the most unacceptable meal. We went to school in other places, stayed at school, brought rice and vegetables, moldy tofu, dried vegetables, pickled radishes and no amaranth stalks. At home, amaranth stalks can't entertain guests-at the dinner table, they are always placed farthest from the guests' seats. Housewives eat only a few after dinner.

Male hosts usually eat amaranth stalks, but when guests come, they don't eat too much, because when they are with guests, what the head of the family eats has a demonstration role. It is said that some people will serve one or two "dishes" without good dishes, and guests will only eat the dishes that their hosts have eaten, so as to avoid eating "dishes" by mistake and embarrassing their hosts.

The butcher in our commune health center once ate "setting the table". He said that once he was a guest, the host strongly advised him to eat fish, which was very attractive with green onions. He was persuaded, however, he caught it with chopsticks, but he couldn't catch it. It's really weird. In a rage, he used Wang Lantian's method of eating eggs-breaking them with his hands and finding that they were fish made of wood. This matter has a name, called "the butcher eats wooden fish"

A Shanghai guest always eats amaranth stalks every time a housewife comes to dinner, but the host never advises him to eat this dish. He was curious and suspected that it was extremely delicious. Once at dinner, he put an amaranth stalk in his mouth and suddenly fell into an embarrassing situation: how can this amaranth stalk be swallowed? He has amaranth stalks in his mouth. Seeing that the master had finished eating and the children had finished eating, he couldn't eat another bite of rice. At that time, it was absolutely intolerable to spit out food when eating, and it was necessary to "make a day (be struck by lightning)."

Finally, the housewife served dinner. I put a piece of amaranth stalk in my mouth, chewed the juice dry, and spit the residue on the table-damn it, Shanghai guests still have to scold themselves. How come in previous meals, I only saw housewives eating amaranth stalks, but I didn't see housewives spitting amaranth residue?

In those days, drinking was a very extravagant thing. Buying wine requires not only money, but also wine tickets. Some people are born with good wine, so they will find some dishes to drink, such as touching some snails from the canal and catching two fish from the stream. Legend has it that an old man was drinking with a snail, not as big as a snail, but a snail shell and soup.

If you use such cheap amaranth and drink such extravagant wine, you will certainly be "slovenly".

One day, there was a story circulating in our village: A Tong told Lao Fan that stewed pig's trotters with amaranth stalks were delicious. Old Fan Xin, who just had a few dollars at home, bought a pig's trotters and stewed amaranth stalks. At that time, you couldn't even eat pork, let alone pig's trotters. A Tong saw that he was going to get into trouble and tried to stop him. Like fighting, the two men circled around the village head, attracting a large group of people to watch the play. This was the most lively event in our village that month.

This incident is reminiscent of Su Dongpo's story.

Once, Dongpo told Liu Gongfu that when my brother and I were studying, we had three meals a day, which was delicious. I don't believe there are any babes in the world that can be better. Father Gong Liu asked, "What is Sanbai?" ? Dongpo said it was a pinch of salt, a dish of raw radish and a bowl of rice.

After a while, Liu Gongfu invited Dongpo to dinner, which was called "a meal". Dongpo had long forgotten what he said, saying, "My husband has read a lot, so there must be a source." I was happily fooled and had a good time, and then I seriously invited Gong Fu to eat "rice" the next day.

Gong Fu knew he was going to be fooled by such a strange name, but he was not fooled and he didn't know what it was like. It was difficult not to go to the last meal, so he was happy to be fooled the next day. As a result, he was hungry for three times, and Dongpo slowly explained what it was: "Salt has hair, radish has hair, and rice has hair." Hairy, no.

It's really strange to know whether you are fooled or fooled. The smarter people are, the more they will be fooled. Only when you are fooled can you rest assured.
