1, check the valve
Before use, check whether the water pressure of the automatic water-feeding electric steamer meets the requirements of the manufacturer, whether the water inlet valve is open and whether the drain valve is closed. If it is an artificial water-filled electric steamer, it is necessary to check whether the drain valve is closed.
2. Put a proper amount of water and food to be processed into the steamer (the water level of the automatic water-feeding electric steamer is basically immersed in the electric heating tube, and the water supply of the manual water-feeding electric steamer should not exceed the water level mark), close the door, turn on the power supply, select the working mode, and wait for it to work.
3. After the processing work is finished and the steam in the belt box is completely released, turn off the power of the electric steamer, then unplug it, and open the door to take out the food.
4. Drain the water in the compartment to prevent the electric heating tube and metal surface of the electric steamer from aging due to moisture. Remove the dirt on the electric heating tube, so that the electric heating tube can conduct heat quickly and avoid overheating and burning out.
5. Clean the internal and external surfaces to keep the electric steamer clean and hygienic, but it is not allowed to be sprayed and cleaned, which will lead to damp of all electrical components, short circuit and even leakage.
How to choose a steamer?
1, first look at what material it is made of. It is good to choose transparent materials that are odorless, easy to clean and not easy to break, so that the cooking effect can be seen at any time. Next, observe that it has several layers of steaming grids, usually two or three layers, which can be freely combined according to the amount of food. Also pay attention to whether it has a timer, a water level observation window and an external water injection port. These three functions are the basic functions that the electric steamer should have. The timer can set the corresponding time required for food cooking and work automatically. The water level observation window can help us observe the amount of water injection and whether it is necessary to replenish water. The external water injection port can replenish water in time without affecting the operation of the electric steamer.
2. Look at its capacity. At present, there are 3 liters, 7 liters, 9 liters and 10 liters, and the appropriate capacity can be selected according to the size of the family. Some electric cookers are equipped with multifunctional steaming bowls, egg trays and movable steaming plates. They can make it convenient for consumers to steam all kinds of food, especially the movable steaming plate. When the food to be steamed can't fit in one layer, the steaming plate can be removed and the two layers can be combined into one layer.
