Edible white oil is referred to as white oil, also known as white mineral oil, is a y refined mineral oil. It is colorless, tasteless, odorless, chemically inert and light stable, with a base molecular weight of 300-450, and is composed mainly of alkanes, cycloalkanes, and a small amount of aromatic hydrocarbons with alkane side chains.
Use: Food grade white oil is obtained by taking mineral oil as the base oil, after deep chemical refining, extraction of edible alcohol and other processes. It is suitable for lubrication of processing equipment in food industry such as grain and oil processing, fruit and vegetable processing, dairy processing, bread cutting machine, etc. It is applied in food glazing, anti-sticking, defoaming, planing and sealing, and can be used as mold releasing agent for macaroni, bread, cookies, chocolate and other food products, and it can prolong the storage and freshness period of wine, vinegar, fruits, vegetables and canned food.
Other types of white oil:
1, medical grade white oil, suitable for the pharmaceutical industry, can be used as a hair production of light diarrhea with the internal agent and the production of penicillin defoamer.
2, cosmetic grade white oil, is the use of hydrogenated raw materials through the depth of refining. It is suitable for the cosmetic industry and can be used as the base oil for ointments and softeners such as hair milk, hair oil, lipstick, face oil, skin care oil, sunscreen oil, baby oil, snow cream and so on. Mineral oil in cosmetics destroys vitamin A and vitamin D in the skin, leading to dryness, accelerated cell death, and buildup leading to infection. Therefore, any cosmetics that contain mineral oil should never be used.
