Sheriff Black Cat is a series of cartoons by Chinese mainland, which was created by Zhu Zhixiang and later adapted into an animation of the same name by Shanghai Animation Film Studio. In p>1984, the animated serial film produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio was the original version of the black cat sheriff's animation, and was directed by Tielang Dai. The animated image of the black cat sheriff in the film was also designed by Tielang Dai.

The film is divided into five episodes, each with 2 minutes. At first, the general director of the film only prepared five episodes of the script, but when the second episode was filmed, an authoritative expert wrote to the creative team not to shoot any more, so in the end, there were only five episodes in this version of the film.

The characters created in this film version were deeply loved by children's audiences in Chinese mainland at that time. In 1988, this film version won the excellent film award from 1986 to 1987 by the former People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China. The first episode won the excellent film award of the first China Children's and Teenagers' Film Cow Award in 1985, and the fourth episode won the excellent film award of the first China Children's and Teenagers' Film Oil Baby Award.
